The exhibition ‘Screens’ in 1997 was based on the initiative of Prof. Jeremy Welsh at the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art and became the official one thousand years anniversary exhibition of the founding of the city of Trondheim.
As the director of Trondheim Art Museum at the time, we collaborated on producing ‘screens’ for the museum and the Nidaros Cathedral with Welsh as the main curator.
‘screens’ were together with ‘Electra 96’, arranged the year before at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, an exhibition that pioneered investigating the field of art & technology in Norway. Amongst many great artists we were i.e. able to exhibit Bill Viola for the first time in Scandinavia.
